zeusZeus was the most important deity of ancient Greece, the leader of the gods and the all-powerful overseer of earthly events and human destiny. His role in mythology was complex and filledZeus was the ruler of the Olympian gods and the god of the sky. He didn’t earn the throne in a traditional matter though. Instead, he overthrew the current ruler, his father, with the help of his siblings.
